An innate leader, my primary focus at any job is continual training and employee empowerment. I firmly believe in PEOPLE FIRST. Property management is my first love. I have been working in the industry now for 15 years. I have worked in both Conventional and Affordable Housing. I started off as a conventional Community Manager, then made a lateral move into a Sales Trainer position. I was responsible for all lease ups, as well as sales training. After working in the conventional sector for about 5 years, I migrated over to Affordable Housing, which is the program I currently work with. I am most familiar with Affordable Housing Programs to include: LIHTC, PBV, (Project Based Section 8) HCV, RAD, FSS (Family Self Sufficiency) and Target/Key/Home programs. Regarding my management style, I am results driven and HIGHLY competitive. I am 100% a "numbers" person. In addition I like to create and be on a winning team. If I have properties that are struggling, I do not email them multiple times per day asking questions, I physically go to the sites to see how I can help. I am not above anything. I will pick up trash as well as show apartments. In my mind, we all have the same job. In my spare time I give back to the community through my non profit organization, “The Pink Planter.” It’s a floral delivery service I started after being diagnosed with breast cancer myself.
